Description

The Pelagos FXD model, a contraction of the English “fixed” referring to the sturdy fixed strap attachment bars, was developed in cooperation with the French Navy’s combat swimmers unit. Water-resistant to 200 m, it is designed for underwater navigation and optimised for professional use. The range also includes a model that pays tribute to decades of TUDOR watches on the wrists of US Navy divers. Complete with fixed strap attachment bars, a titanium case, a high-performance Manufacture Calibre and a unidirectional rotating bezel with elapsed time measurement, it presents itself as the most modern version of the “Milsub” (short for Military Submariner) of the past. Aesthetically, it is in line with the TUDOR Oyster Prince Submariner of the late 1960s; it incorporates elements of US military specifications for diving watches. In short, the FXD range is the fruit of TUDOR’s collaboration with two military organisations.
